Gentle Soul

We have enjoyed Punkin being part of our familiy.  She is a gentle soul.  She is dainty in all her moves.  Though when we arrive home and let her out of the crate, you would think she thought she was the Easter Bunny!  She hops all the way down the hall and outside to go to the "potty!"

My husband and I are convienced that she is a Bloodhound trapped in a Greyhound's body.  Her sweet little wet nose will be the first thing she greets you with!  It is always in overdrive discovering the smells indoors, outdoors and on humans and pets alike.

Punkin has enjoyed her best friend, Lago, our Portuguese Water Dog.  She also enjoyed vacationing with another greyhound for a week and again during the Labor Day weekend with three very small dogs.  She was the perfect guest and loved being with her new pals.

Punkin loves to be with us and nestle down in her nesting bed.  Sometimes, she likes to crawl in her crate when she needs a break from life with two teenagers!  She is cautious though very friendly with strangers that visit.  It doesn't take long for her to come and ask for a little love from the visitors.

If you are looking for a pooch that loves to coil her long neck and head around your arm to let you know she loves you and loves affection, Punkin is your girl!

I am ajusting to my new life off the track!  I don't  hide in my crate and I love to spend time with my foster family.  I am still very quiet but LOVE affection!  When I explore outside, one ear stands on end and the other flopps over.  I guess that means I'm half alert.  My foster mom thinks I'm so cute.  I love to sniff the little crawling bugs on the drive way.  Every morning my foster sister and I  think it's time to play!

My Foster Home

Hi, my name is Eye Shopping (Punkin to my friends).  My new foster family picked me up on Saturday afternoon and brought me to my new foster home until I find my forever home.

I am a petite girl and a little shy, but am really starting to blossom!  I get so excited when my foster mom comes outside with me.  I hop like a bunny with my front feet.  My foster mom thinks I'm so cute.  I love to get lovin' from all my foster family.  I even give kisses!

My foster mom thinks I'm so funny because I have a habit of filling my crate with my foster parents socks, shoes, or shirts when they are gone.  I don't chew anything, but I always have a surprise waiting on them when they get home.

I am learning about new sounds like hairdryers, vacuum cleaners, door bells, etc... I'm a quick learner and my foster mom is working with me.  They have hardwood floors and I don't mind them at all.  I like their Portuguese Water Dog named Lago.  Last Sunday, we visited my foster mom's sister, Aunt Holly.  Her cat came to say hello.  I really didn't care much about him.  To be honest...he kinda scared me.  :)
